It also functions as a convenient memo tool when taking quick photos with a smartphone or tablet. A common challenge addressed by this app is the distortion caused by camera lenses, which can alter the appearance of the subject.

Even when the subject is aligned at right angles, images often deviate from perfect geometry. Rectangular objects may appear as distorted quadrilaterals due to perspective effects, especially when photographed from an oblique angle. This app enables users to transform such perspective-distorted quadrangles back into their original rectangular form.

The user can delineate an arbitrary quadrilateral—be it trapezoid, rhombus, parallelogram, or freeform—and convert it into a perfect rectangle. The application does not require the quadrilateral to have right angles, providing flexibility in selecting the area to be corrected.

When direct frontal photography isn't possible, images tend to exhibit perspective distortion. Even images taken straight on can experience slight distortions. This app allows for the correction of such perspective issues, rendering obliquely captured photos into front-view rectangular images.
